Dara is a member of the Bar Association of Cambodia, and is overseeing Y&D Law Office, while also working in partnership with SP&P on an ad hoc basis, with focal expertise in litigation, arbitration, real estate and contracts. Dara has a particular focus on litigation in various practical aspects from the initiation of proceedings to the issuance of the judgment by helping both local and international clients gain their legal rights and interests. His experience involves the enforcement of judicial decisions by way of compulsory execution or auctions against debtors’ assets for claim recovery no matter the disputes are based on contractual claims or tortious ones. In many cases, he handles loan recovery for banks against debtors’ assets under collateral.Further, he is also capable of representing clients in settling their disputes using arbitration if the arbitration agreement is concerned since he also participated and gained experience in Vis East Moot during his academic study. Besides, his experience also extends to property development and projects (land development, condominium, etc.).
